YUCCA VALLEY ANIMAL CONTROL INVESTIGATING PUPPY KILLED BY NEIGHBORS DOGS

A Yucca Valley animal control officer is investigating a case in which three dogs dug under a fence and killed a puppy inside the yard. According to a Sheriff’s report, about 8 a.m. Friday morning, three boxers dug under a 6-foot chain-link fence into the yard of a home in the 57400 block of St. Mary’s Drive and attacked a 2-month-old chihuahua puppy and killed it. Animal Control officer Kim Casey impounded the three dogs while she makes her investigation.
