Both Yucca Valley and Twentynine Palms High School varsity girls’ basketball teams have home CIF playoff games tonight.
The Yucca Valley girls will open the CIF Division 3A first round playoffs at home when they host the Temple City Rams in Trojan Gym. The playoff game is scheduled to start at 6 p.m.
The Lady Trojans were seeded #4 in the playoff bracket. The Lady Trojans finished their season 24-4 overall and 14-0 in Desert Valley League play.
Temple City finished the season in third place in the Rio Hondo League with an overall record of 7-15 and a 4-4 league record.
The Twentynine Palms High School LadyCats will host the Cabrillo Conquistadors at home tonight, starting at 6 p.m.
The LadyCats finished the season with a 20-8 overall record and 12-2 in league. Cabrillo is 14-11 overall and 6-4 in league play.
Ticket prices for the games, set by CIF, are $10 for general admission; $5 for high school students with current high school ID, and children.
