Yucca Valley Airport closed to air traffic as repaving begins Wednesday

The Yucca Valley Airport will be closed beginning Wednesday (July 12) until August 11 for repaving.

The closure was announced by the Yucca Valley Airport District’s Board of Directors, and will mean that no air traffic will be coming in our out of the airport in Yucca Valley, near the intersection of Twentynine Palms Highway and Old Woman Springs Road.

The reopening date of August 11 is considered to be approximate, as the repaving work may take more or less time than scheduled.
