A native of Joshua Tree, Gene Evaro Jr. personifies the quiet, inspirational spirit of the Hi-Desert in his music, which has been heard on nationwide tours and the network show Deadliest Catch. He and the Yucca Valley High School select choir will perform a benefit concert to raise money for the choir’s upcoming trip to Washington D.C.
