A Yucca Mesa home is a total loss after it burned to the ground in a fire Tuesday. Firefighters from Yucca Mesa, Joshua Tree, and Calfire were called to the 1300 block of South Wamego Trail just after 11 am. When they arrived, they found flames pouring from windows, doors, and the roof of the 1,300 square-foot home. No one was home at the time of the fire. Firefighters were at the scene until about 2:30. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
