A local summer camp experience will be about more than fun and games. Reporter Taylor Thacker tells about what’s in story
This year, the Town of Yucca Valley is offering a youth summer camp themed around the Museum’s Eat Well, Play Well Exhibit. This camp is offered to youth 6 and over and the programs run Tuesday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to noon. The registration fee is $20 and includes learning topics such as the biology and chemistry of body functions, making and eating your own yummy food, creating pottery and paint related to food, and trying some new sports and activities.
