On Friday, November 20, JTREE Board Chair Lori Rennie and Joshua Tree National Park Superintendent David Smith signed a partnership agreement to develop and operate a youth-oriented residential outdoor education campus in the national park. The new youth program will teach environmental education and the interplay between science, technology, engineering, math, social and cultural sciences, and the humanities. The curriculum is designed to complement the current K-12 education program at Joshua Tree National Park. For more information on the program, contact [email protected].
