A youth art show will be held Friday, July 31, through Sunday, August 23, at the 29 Palms Art Gallery. This is open for youth between the ages of 5 and 17. Bring in your original paintings, drawing, photography, ceramics, mixed media and 3-dimensional sculptural works of art to the gallery between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. on Monday, July 27. All wall hanging art should be ready to hang with a wire attached to the back for hanging. Gallery staff will be on hand on the delivery date to assist with hanging preparation. The gallery will provide pedestals for 3-dimensional sculpture. Also the opening reception for the show will be held on Sunday, August 2, from 12 p.m. until 3 p.m. For more information, contact the 29 Palms Art Gallery at 760-367-7819.
