The Morongo Basin’s only no-kill animal shelter can always use your help. ROP broadcasting student Amy Fuentes tells you how…
The Morongo Basin Humane Society is the local no-kill animal shelter located in Joshua Tree. According to their website, they’re motivated to keep the shelter up and running because they believe that, “No fully adoptable animal should be euthanized and those seemingly adoptable animals can become someone’s treasured pet with time and training.” The shelter runs on two weekly bingo games and endless fundraisers. You can help the Morongo Basin Humane Society by volunteering at the shelter or by becoming a Guardian Angel and sponsoring a dog or cat.
