The Continuing Care Center has 48 women and 46 men who are hoping area residents will “adopt” them for Christmas. The residents need new pajamas, nightgowns, fleece blankets, non-skid footies, windbreakers, sugar free candy, and toiletries. Drop off the new, unwrapped items before December 17 at Tri-Valley Realty (56659 Twentynine Palms Highway A, Yucca Valley) or the Yucca Valley Chamber of Commerce (56711 Twentynine Palms Highway, Yucca Valley).
