At last night’s Yucca Valley Planning Commission, the commission discussed Joshua Springs Calvary Chapel’s request for a variance to install a 28-square foot electronic messaging sign in front of its building on Joshua Lane. The sign would be more than four times the size currently allowed by code. After much deliberation, the commission decided to table the agenda item, postponing the decision. Further Discussion on the variance requested for the sign will be brought up again at a future meeting.
