WORKSHOP FOR PARENTS OF CHILDREN WITH SPECIAL NEEDS

The Early Start Family Resource Network will host a sensory integration workshop next week for parents of children with developmental delays and disabilities, but you have to register for it by Wednesday. Reporter Andrew Dieleman has more information on this non-profit event…

Parents of children with developmental delays and disabilities are invited to attend a sensory integration workshop with Pediatric Occupational Therapist Annette Richardson. If your child is a picky eater, has difficulty sleeping, is clumsy or fearful, or throws a tantrum for no apparent reason; then this workshop may be able to help. The workshop will be held on Tuesday, April 30, from 10 a.m. to noon at the Morongo Unified School District offices, 5715 Utah Trail in Twentynine Palms. Space is limited, so attendees must RSVP by April 24. No childcare will be provided. Raffle prizes will be available. For more information, or to register, contact the Early Start Family Resource Network via email at [email protected] or call 800-974-5553.
