“Working,” a musical featuring a live band and 17 local performers, is holding its final weekend of performances at the Hi-Desert Cultural Center’s Black Box theater in Joshua Tree. Based on Studs Terkel’s best-selling book of the same name, it praises the decency and dignity of America’s working class. “Working” is an homage to the hard-working people who make America what it is. The play is rated PG-13. Performances are tonight at 7:30 p.m. and tomorrow at 2:30 p.m. Tickets are $18-$32.
