“Woof Walk” in Pioneertown this Saturday (4/6)

The 10th annual “Woof Walk” in Pioneertown is happening this Saturday, April 6. 

The popular event is a fundraiser for the Joshua Tree No-Kill Shelter, and its “mane” event is a dog walk down Pioneertwon’s Mane St. Everyone is invited to the event, though participating dogs and their walkers will need to register the morning of the event. There will be a small registration fee.

In addition to the walk, there will be a number of raffles, live and silent auctions, and food and vendors. 

The fun begins at 10 a.m. at the Pioneertown Wild West Theater on Saturday April 6. The walk begins at 11 a.m., and the fun runs all day long. Snake wrangler Danielle Wall will have a demonstration at noon, Bunny and Claude (a.k.a. Jessica von Rabbit and Dee Jay Zee Jay Lee) will perform at 1 p.m., and the event wraps at 4 p.m.
