A Wonder Valley woman suspected of forgery was arrested on a warrant Saturday. According to a Sheriff’s press release, when deputies arrived at a home in the 76300 block of Raymond Drive about 8:20 with a warrant to arrest Teala Campbell, 29, a woman matching Campbell’s description looked out the bedroom window and immediately closed the curtain. When Campbell refused to leave the home, deputies entered and encountered a sleeping man who said he was the only one at home. During a search, deputies located Teala Campbell hiding in a closet, and ammunition in the bedroom and living room. Teala Campbell was arrested for being a felon in possession of ammunition, booked at the Morongo Basin Jail, with her bail set at $85,000.
