Wonder Valley residents with concerns about fire protection there will have an opportunity to learn more about the issue at a special community meeting from 10 a.m. to noon this Wednesday, May 2. Responding to a request by Wonder Valley’s Municipal Advisory Council delegate Teresa Sitz, representatives for County Supervisor James Ramos and County Fire Administration Deputy Fire Chief John Chamberlin will update attendees on plans for fire protection in the remote community east of Twentynine Palms. Tomorrow’s meeting takes place at the Wonder Valley Community Center on Amboy Road, in Wonder Valley.
