A Wonder Valley man learned it’s best not to call deputies for help if he’s in a stolen vehicle. About 10:15 Friday morning, Naim Sharrieff, 45, was arguing with a woman in the 74200 block of Joshua Drive in Twentynine Palms. He called 911 to report that the woman has stolen his cell phone. When deputies arrived, they determined that Sharrieff was in possession of a stolen vehicle. Naim Sharrieff was arrested for being in possession of a stolen vehicle, booked into the Morongo Basin Jail, with his bail set at $50,000.
