WONDER VALLEY MAN BREAKS INTO A TWENTYNINE PALMS CAR DEALERSHIP

A Wonder Valley man was arrested Monday, accused of vandalizing the Ram Truck Center in Twentynine Palms. Deputies say that sometime on Sunday, Frank Willis, 19, smashed the glass exterior door to the Twentynine Palms dealership. Once inside, Willis began to rearrange the furniture and spray painted the word “Willis” inside the business. He then went outside and smashed the driver’s side window of a Dodge Durango that was parked outside on the lot before fleeing the business. The truck dealership estimated the damage at about $3,100. On Monday, deputies located Frank Willis inside the Yucca Valley Walmart store and arrested him for investigation of felony vandalism, booked him into the West Valley Detention Center, with his bail set at $25,000.
