A Wonder Valley man on felony probation was arrested Thursday after weapons and ammunition were found in his home. According to a Sheriff’s report, deputies went to the home of William Wetterer, 67, of the 4700 block of Wilson Road about 8:30 a.m. for a probation compliance check. Deputies searched his property and found three rifles in a shed on the rear of his property, and ammunition in his bedroom closet. William Wetterer was arrested for investigation of being a felon in possession of a firearm, booked at the Morongo Basin Jail, with his bail set at $50,000.
