WONDER VALLEY MAN ACCUSED OF RANSACKING A HOME

A Wonder Valley man was arrested Sunday, accused of burglarizing a home. Sheriff’s deputies who were called to a home in the 4500 block of Blower Road in Wonder Valley about 9:30 a.m. discovered the home had been ransacked. Several items, including cans of food and a chainsaw, were stolen from the home. Evidence at the scene led deputies to the 81200 block of Harley Lane where they found Chad Heffley, 41, and the stolen items. After an investigation, Chad Heffley was arrested on suspicion of burglary, booked into the Morongo Basin Jail, with his bail set at $25,000.
