A woman had to be rescued early this morning after her car went into a ditch in the Yucca Grade. Shortly after 5:30 a.m., a woman driving eastbound on Highway 62 going up the Yucca Grade drove off the side of the road, with her car perched precariously over the ditch. Yucca Valley fire fighters had to stabilize her Chevy Volt so that she could get out of the car. The woman suffered minor injuries and was taken to Hi-Desert Medical Center.
