A woman received minor injuries Saturday when she fell out of the back of a pick-up truck while helping a friend move. According to a Sheriff’s report, the woman, identified as Kaylee Ledford, was sitting in the back of the truck holding on to a mattress, while the driver, identified only as Tyree, was driving westbound on El Paseo toward Mesquite Springs Road about 3:30 p.m. One of the mattresses started to fall out of the truck and while trying to grab it, Ledford fell out of the truck. Ledford sustained road rash and minor injuries. She was treated at Hi-Desert Medical Center and released.
