WOMAN KILLED IN ROLLOVER CRASH IN JOHNSON VALLEY EARLY WEDNESDAY

An Arizona woman was killed in a rollover crash in Johnson Valley early Wednesday morning. About 1:35 a.m., a witness called 911 to report he saw a 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee driving northbound on Old Woman Springs Road, when for unknown reasons, it left the highway north of Rattlesnake Canyon Road and rolled over into the open desert. He found a woman who had been thrown about 60 feet from the Jeep with major head trauma. She was pronounced deceased at the scene. Her identity has not been released yet. The California Highway Patrol said drugs or alcohol do not appear to be a factor in the crash. Her identity has not been released yet.
