WOMAN ARRESTED, SUSPECTED OF STEAING HER FATHER’S CAR

A Twentynine Palms woman was arrested Sunday, accused of stealing her father’s car. According to a Sheriff’s report, a resident in the 5100 block of Pearl Springs Avenue in Twentynine Palms went out of town for the weekend and left his car keys locked in his bedroom. The Sheriff’s report states that while he was gone, Teviana Neal, 25, broke into her father’s bedroom, took the car keys, and used the car over the weekend without her father’s permission. Teviana Neal was arrested for investigation of grand theft auto, booked at the Morongo Basin Jail, with her bail set at $50,000.
