A Yucca Valley woman was arrested Thursday morning on drug warrant charges, and a 7-month old baby was taken by Child Protective Services. According to a Sheriff’s report, a woman called at 6:46 Thursday morning to report that she had been caring for the baby at a home in the 5300 block of Adobe Road, but had been kicked out of the home that morning. The caller was worried that the baby had been crying for hours and the mother was not caring for the baby. After an investigation, Kristie Ragsdale, 35, was arrested for investigation of two charges of possession of controlled substances, and on two $50,000 warrants for drug possession. Kristie Ragsdale was booked at the Morongo Basin Jail with her bail set at $50,000. Child Protective Services took the baby from the location.
