
Woman arrested for investigation into two robberies at Twentynine Palms businesses
Updated 4/23/26 @ 10:00 a.m. – The suspect Shayna Hudson was arrested for investigation into a reported “armed robbery” but was charged on 4/18 with Felony 2nd Degree Robbery.
The suspect entered a plea of “not guilty” at her arraignment on 4/22.
A woman is facing charges of armed robbery after allegedly stealing from Stater Bros. in Twentynine Palms.
On Saturday April 18 at 2:21 p.m., San Bernardino County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of an armed robbery at the Stater Bros. on Twentynine Palms Highway in Twentynine Palms.
An employee told deputies that the suspect, Shayna Hudson, 28, stole a number of items valued at $30 to $40. Deputies say that employees attempted to stop Hudson, but she pushed past them and fled the location. None of the employees reported serious injury.
Deputies say they located Hudson at around 3:00 p.m. near Twentynine Palms Highway and Mission Avenue. They say she taken additional merchandise from O’Reilly Auto Parts. She was taken into custody without incident.
Shayna Hudson was arrested on suspicion of two counts of robbery and being under the influence of a controlled substance.
She is being held at the West Valley Detention Center on $155,000 bail.
