According to a Sheriff’s report, about 4:45, Amber Keys, 45, went to the Wells Fargo bank on Highway 62 and tried to cash a check for $2,800. The bank cashier noticed the signatures didn’t match, and called the owner of the account, who said her purse—along with her check book—had been stolen in Los Angeles.
