WOMAN ACCUSED OF PUNCHING MAN AT TORTOISE ROCK CASINO

A woman was arrested Friday night after a man said she punched him in the face. According to a Sheriff’s report, the man was at Tortoise Rock Casino when Nikole Schroeder, 28, of Fresno, sat next to him. Schroeder and the man knew each other and have had problems in the past, according to the report. They started arguing, and then Schroeder allegedly punched the man once on the right side of his face. After an investigation, deputies determined that Schroeder has three misdemeanor warrants for her arrest, totaling $125,000. Nikole Schroeder was arrested on suspicion of assault, and for warrants for possession of fighting knuckles, being under the influence of a controlled substance, and vandalism, with her bail set at $125,000.
