Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a hit and run collision between a white semi-truck and a black pick-up truck Tuesday morning. According to a Sheriff’s report, the Dodge pick-up was traveling eastbound on Amboy Road, east of Utah Trail in Twentynine Palms, just before 12 noon. As the truck was making a left-hand turn onto Roundup Road, the semi—which was not pulling a trailer—moved into the left lane and hit the truck. The driver of the semi fled the scene. The pick-up truck driver was not injured. Deputies checked the surrounding area for the semi but did not find it. Anyone with information should call the Sheriff’s Department at 760-366-4175.
