The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood warning through tonight in the Morongo Basin. In Yucca Valley, the Hi-Desert Water District advises commuters to avoid roads currently under construction, particularly in the areas of Onaga Trail and Yucca Trail, until the rain subsides. Paving for Yucca Trail and Onaga Trail continues to be postponed until weather conditions improve. Motorists are urged to use Highway 62 and Pueblo Trail as alternate routes.
