The 29 Palms Art Gallery will hold a wine and painting class with David Greene on Saturday, October 17, from 4 to 6 p.m. Greene is known for his nocturnal paintings. Students will learn how to paint gradations of contrast and colors to build the subtleties of a dark painting working from a blackened surface. The class will be held outside on the gallery patio. The class fee is $45. Registration is required.

Join Guest Artist David Greene for Wine & Paint at the Gallery. David is a longtime resident of Wonder Valley who is well known for creating nocturnal paintings. He works in acrylics on canvas, board, cardboard, water towers, container boxes and Wonder Valley homes. In this workshop, students will explore the challenges of nocturnal paintings learning painting traditions of old and new.
