On Senior night, the Yucca Valley High School boys’ basketball team routed Desert Mirage by a score of 72-40, with contributions from players across the board, and it wasn’t even that close!! The team will like to thank the Trojans that came and supported us on Valentine’s day. Playoffs start this Wednesday with St. Francis from La Canada coming into Trojan gym. Come support your Trojans tomorrow, this is going to be a good one.
The Yucca Valley High School girls’ soccer team hosted Desert Mirage High School for the last game of the regular season. Girls’ varsity soccer Coach Scott Phillips said the Lady Trojans dominated the game and out-shot the Rams 21-2, finishing with a 3-1 victory.
Freshman Alexia Missett scored two goals, one assist; senior Teresa; Nava, one goal, one assist; and junior Karson Scaccinoce, one assist. Next up for the Lady Trojans will be a CIF playoff game at Baldwin Park High School tomorrow at 3 p.m.
