The Twentynine Palms High School varsity Golf Team improved its league record to 4-0 with a 242-296 win over Desert Hot Springs High School yesterday. Coach Grant Whipple said leading the way for the ‘Cats were Brandon Steffins, 42; and Austin Aretakis, 43. The ‘Cats will take on undefeated Shadow Hills High School next Tuesday at Roadrunner Dunes Golf Course in a important league match.
