Still thinking about getting a new tablet? Reporter Dan Stork says you might get one free, by patronizing the Joshua Tree Library now…
From now until December 23, every time a customer checks out 10 items from the Joshua Tree Library, they will receive a ticket for an opportunity drawing. The winner will receive a Kindle Fire HD 6, which was donated by the Friends of the Joshua Tree Library. The Friends, who partner with the library to promote library use and services, donated a Kindle to help the library highlight the new e-content available on the library’s website at www.sbclib.org. The county library website offers free downloads of e-books, audiobooks, music, videos, digital magazines, and reference materials. Anyone with a valid San Bernardino County library card can access all of the content at no cost.
