WILDCAT TRACK AND FIELD TEAMS FALL TO GOLDEN EAGLES

Twentynine Palms High School track and field teams traveled to Desert Hot Springs over spring break to face the Golden Eagles in a high-wind matchup. Coach Ronda Locket-Morton said the three Lady Wildcats held their own scoring in all their events, but fell short 35-13. The boys were outpaced 45-27.

Roberto Gutierrez and Brandon Kilpatrick both earned personal records in the 800m despite the difficult wind. Chloe Burgan earned a 26-second, season personal record in the 1600m.  The team will host Indio next Wednesday at 3:15.
