WILDCAT TENNIS TEAMS DEFEAT CATHEDRAL CITY

The Twentynine Palms High School boys’ and girls’ varsity tennis teams traveled to Cathedral City to face the Lions yesterday. The Wildcat boys beat the Lions 7 to 1 and the Ladycats beat the Lions 6 to 3.

In doubles action, the Wildcat boys’ double teams of Jonray Mendoza/Nhan Nguyen and Brayden Chambers/Daniel Hunyh won their doubles matches. 

The Wildcats boys Nhan Nguyen, Jonray Mendoza, Daniel Huynh, Brayden Chambers and Titus Bosch each won their singles match.

The Ladycat double teams of Mariah Banerjee/Madi Soster, Natalia Henry/Isabel Plummer, and Anaid Montero/Makenna Whitfield each won their  doubles match. 

In singles action, Makenna Whitfield, Mariah Banerjee, and Carly Bateman each won their singles game.

The Wildcats boys are now 8 and 1 and the Ladycats are also 8 and 1.   

The Wildcats travel to Desert Hot Springs on Friday.
