WILDCAT SOFTBALL DOMINATES DHS

The Desert Hot Springs Golden Eagles softball team came to town to face the Twentynine Palms High School Lady Cats and left with an 11-0 defeat in five innings. Fifteen batters came to the plate and only one reached base on a walk and was then thrown out. Jenica Silvas had six strikeouts. May Chacon was 2-3 and scored three times. Hailee Jenkins was 3-3 and scored twice. Gabby Wunderlee was 2-3 and scored twice. Jenica Silvas was 3-3 with a home run and scored twice.


The Lady Cats split a two-game series last week with Coachella Valley. Game one went to the Arabs 3 to 1 with Jenica Silvas hitting the scoreboard for a solo home run. The Lady Cats came back strong in the second game-winning 10 to 1.
