WILDCAT SOCCER OPENS LEAGUE PLAY WITH TOUGH LOSS

On Friday, (December 10) the Twentynine Palms High School Wildcat boys’ soccer team opened home league play with a tough 0-2 loss against the visiting Indio Rajas. The Wildcats played strong defense led by center backs Ramon Iniguez and Austin Reza and only gave up two early goals to match the best score of a game versus Indio all-time. Goalie Alyx Hinton recorded 15 saves on 17 shots on goal.

The Wildcats continue league play this Wednesday (December 15) at home against Desert Hot Springs with kickoff scheduled for 5 p.m. at Tom Nicoll Memorial Stadium.
