WILDCAT BOYS’ BASKETBALL FALLS TO INDIO RAJAHS

The Twentynine Palms boys’ basketball team hosted the Indio Rajahs on Tuesday night, and saw the frosh-soph team lose 66-50; junior varsity won 78-35; and varsity fell to the league champions, 62-53.
Coach Michael Usher said the 62-53 loss drops varsity into sole possession of second place in the Desert Valley League at 8-3. The Wildcats were led by junior Troy Tuivaiti with 18 points and seven rebounds, and senior Tarion Napolean with 16 points and six rebounds.
Frosh-soph was led by Jaylen Sewell with 17 points and 16 rebounds, and JV saw Kam Luna lead the team with 15 points and 10 rebounds.
