The Twentynine Palms High School swim team met Coachella Valley High School at Luckie Park to win both the girls’ and boys’ meets, with the Wildcat girls swimming past the Mighty Arabs 70-44, and the boys winning, 81-53. During this short season, Aiden Sullivan swam a CIF automatic time in the 50-yard free style, and the boys swam nine CIF consideration times, a total of 10 out of 11 races with CIF times.
The boys had a phenomenal season, winning all six meets. The Wildcats won six first-places races, eight second-, and three third-place finishes.
At this meet with the Mighty Arab team, the girls took home 10 of 11 first-place finishes and two third-place finishes.
The LadyCats’ Desert Valley League record is 4-2, and the men’s record is 6-0.

Placing 1st in the following events:
- 200-yard medley relay Team: Patricia Zuniga, Destiny Cisneros, Izzy Pryor and Nadia Moreno.
- Nadia Moreno in the 200-yard and 500-yard Free style .
- Destiny Cisneros in the 200-yard Individual Medley and 100-yard back stroke.
- 50 and 100-yard free style was Patricia Zuniga.
- 100-yard Butterfly, and the 100-yard Breast Stroke and she had personal best (PB) in both races was Izzy Pryor.
- 200-yard free relay Team: Izzy Pryor, Destiny Cisneros, Nadia Moreno and Patricia Zuniga.
Placing 3rd was:
- Anna Pollnow in the 200-yard and 500-yard free style .
Boys:
- 200-yard medley relay Team of: Daviahn Thrasher, Colton Charles, Aiden Sullivan and George Bourikas.
- Colton Charles in the 200-yard Free style and the 100-yard butterfly.
- Daviahn Thrasher in the 200-yard Individual Medley and he swam a PB in the 100-yard back stroke.
- 50-yard free style was Aiden Sullivan.
- The 200-yard free relay team of: Daviahn Thrasher, Micah Pollnow, Colton Charles and Aiden Sullivan.
2nd place were:
- Tavious Thrasher swam a PB in the 200-yard free style .
- Micah Pollnow in 200-yard Individual Medley and swam a PB in the 100-yard Breast Stroke.
- George Bourikas in the 50-yard free style and he swam a PB in the 500-yard Free style .
- Aiden Sullivan in the 100-yard free style.
- 100-yard back stroke with a PB was Daviahn Thrasher.
- 400-yard free relay team of: Micah Pollnow, Tavious Thrasher, Moses Williams and George Bourikas.
3rd place were:
- Moses Williams in the 100-yard free style and swam a PB in the 100-yard breast stroke.
- Tavious Thrasher swam a PB and lowered his time by 8 seconds in the 500-yard free style.
