WILDCAT BASKETBALL BRINGS HOME DOUBLE WIN

The Twentynine Palms High School boys’ basketball team traveled to Desert Hot Springs on Wednesday (December 15) and came home with two victories. JV won 76-20 and was led by Jaidain Booker with 21 points, 8 steals, and 4 rebounds, and Rory Morning with 12 points and 9 rebounds. Each player on the team scored at least 6 points in a great team effort.

Varsity won 63-19, led by PJ Horn with 15 points and 3 steals, and Dynamite Krough with 14 points and 12 rebounds. Krough and his fellow big men Aiden Sullivan and Tua Kakalia dominated inside all night, with Sullivan and Kakalia chipping in 10 and 9 points respectively.

Varsity’s scheduled home game today (December 17) has been postponed due to a COVID-19 outbreak on the visiting team, so they will be off until participating in the holiday tournament at Loma Linda Academy on December 27-30.
