The Twentynine Palms High School junior varsity baseball team won 11 to 0 on Friday (March 26) night against Coachella. Eric Navarette pitched a complete game shutout with 6 strikeouts. Caeden Dickson had a great day at the plate going 3 for 3. Gabriel Zaragoza also did well at the plate going 2 for 3.
The varsity Wildcats lost to Coachella Valley 7 to 10 Friday night. Kai Manai came into pitch in the 4th inning. He struck out 5 while only walking 1. He gave up 3 hits and only 1 run while pitching 4 innings. He also went 2 for 4 with a triple single and 2 runs scored. Kai is only a freshman and he continues to get better and better every day. Aiden Sullivan had another strong game at the plate going 3 for 4. This young man continues to amaze everyone. The team plays Desert Hot Springs tomorrow (Wednesday, March 30).
