The Twentynine Palms High School Wildcat varsity baseball team won Wednesday afternoon (March 30) against Desert Hot Springs 17 to 1.
Sophomore Andrew Hudson pitched a phenomenal 7 inning game. He had 11 strikeouts 7 walks 1 run scored and only gave up 4 hits. He also went 2 for 5 at the plate with a double, single, 1 RBI and 1 run scored. Sophomore Noah Barber went 3 for 4 with a double, 2 singles, 3 RBI’s 2 runs scored, and 2 stolen bases.
Freshman Kai Manai had a good defensive game making some key plays. He also went 3 for 4 with 3 singles 3 RBI’s 2 runs scored and 1 stolen base. Freshmen Angel Gonzalez had his first game on varsity after being pulled up the day before. He went 4 for 4 with 4 singles 1 stolen base 3 RBI’s and 2 runs scored.
