Wild West Hoedown raises $3000 for Reach Out Morongo Basin

Reach Out Morongo Basin held its Wild, Wild West Hoedown held on Saturday (October 14) as part of Pioneer Days. Despite challenging weather, the event, held at the historic Tower Homestead Guest Ranch, was a sold-out success raising nearly $3000 for the organization that provides a number of services senior citizens and disabled people throughout the high desert community.

Old Timer of the Year, David Smith, was recognized and introduced by longtime friend, Thurmon Carson, as the crowd listened to stories of being raised during the early days of Twentynine Palms at the historic Smith’s Ranch.
