There will be many Halloween and harvest-themed activities throughout the Morongo Basin on Wednesday, October 31.
Harvest festivals will be held at Valley Community Chapel in Yucca Valley, 59025 Yucca Trail, from 5 to 8 p.m.; at Joshua Springs Calvary Chapel on Joshua Lane in Yucca Valley, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.; at Copper Mountain College in Joshua Tree from 5 to 8 p.m.; at Sky View Chapel, 7475 Sunny Vista Road in Joshua Tree, from 5 to 8 p.m.; and at Calvary Chapel of Landers, 55474 New Dixie Mine Road, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Trunk or treat events will be held at First Christian Church, 56284 Buena Vista Drive, starting at 5 p.m.; at Elite Cosmetology School, on Highway 62 in Yucca Valley, from 5 to 8 p.m.; at the Joshua Tree Sportsman’s Club on Sunburst Avenue in Joshua Tree, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.; and at United Methodist Church on the corner of Onaga Trail and Joshua Lane in Yucca Valley, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
In addition, Hi-Desert Medical Center will have its treat jars ready for trick-or-treaters this Halloween. Multiple departments at the hospital will welcome trick-or-treaters from 4 to 7 p.m., as well as the Continuing Care Center, just up the hill from the hospital.
