The Twentynine Palms Visitor Center & Gallery is holding an exhibition about the history of the beloved annual event. The Weed Show sees participants design arrangements made from native desert flora and found objects as part of a judged competition.
The exhibition, which runs through the rest of the year, will tell the history of the event, which began in the 1940s, and showcase recent winners.
The exhibition opens Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Twentynine Palms Visitor Center, located at 73484 Twentynine Palms Hwy
The Weed Show, presented by the Twentynine Palms Historical Society, will be held on November 4 and 5.
