Later today(October 5, 2022) in Joshua Tree, the Joshua Basin Water District’s regular meeting begins promptly at 5:30 p.m. The Hi-Desert Water District, which serves Yucca Valley, has no meeting today.
Following the dispatch of routine items on the consent agenda, directors at the Joshua Basin Water District will hear a report on capacity fees. These are the one-time development charges used to fund capital improvements essential to the district’s growth. Also today, the board will be asked to approve an updated employee compensation plan.
