Yucca Valley’s Hi-Desert Water District board of directors meets today (October 18, 2023) at 4 p.m. Joshua Tree’s Joshua Basin Water District’s regular meeting begins promptly at 5:30 p.m.
Among agenda items at the Hi-Desert Water District, the board will receive information on “forever chemical” litigation, groundwater reuse and replenishment, and staff will recommend an owner’s rep for the next phase of the sewer project. The public is welcome at today’s meeting at the district office on the highway at Inca Trial.
And down the road, Joshua Basin Water District’s board will hear regular reports as well as presentations on district investments, capacity fees, public outreach, and the Copper Mountain Mesa assessment district. That meeting is at the district office on Chollita Road in Joshua Tree where the public is welcome to attend.
