“Reptiles of the Morongo Basin” is the topic of The Morongo Basin Historical Society’s second Wednesday lecture series. Wednesday, February 10, at 5:30 p.m., meet herpetologist Robert Black. He will speak about habitats, range, and how to identify reptiles in the Morongo Basin. He will discuss how reptiles have adapted to the extremes of our high desert ecosystem. Bring all your questions about lizards, snakes and desert tortoises. The lecture will take place at the Hi-Desert Nature Museum, in Yucca Valley, 57116 29 Palms Hwy.
