Today we visit with Sydney Rieman, a junior at Yucca Valley High School and candidate for Miss Yucca Valley. Who is the prominent woman you interviewed and what you have learned from her?
“My prominent woman is Jennifer Kieffer and she has taught me that the true meaning of being successful is making others feel special and loved. Jennifer showed me that I can use the hardships in my life to encourage others around me and that I can find happiness in my life by opening my heart because ‘love never fails’.”
What have you learned from your experience with Miss Yucca Valley?
“From this experience, I have learned a lot about myself. I now know tat I am capable of speaking in public and opening up to others. The pageant has provided me the confidence to believe in myself and to trust that I can do anything as long as I set my mind to it.”
Any final words?
“I would like to thank Sheldon and Tara, along with the Rotary Club, for all that you have taught me, and for giving me this incredible experience that I will never forget. I am so grateful to have met my prominent woman as well as all of these girls who I would now call my sisters. The Miss Yucca Pageant has helped me take a great leap toward my future, all while having fun an making memories. I would definitely recommend this pageant to all upcoming juniors. ”
